This NAVSUP WSS-MECH procurement is a total small business set-aside for repair parts/supplies, with quality assurance, inspection, packaging, and technical documentation governed by the IRPOD and cited military/commercial specifications. Technical drawings, specifications, and related documents are subject to special export controls (NOFORN), and foreign-government or foreign-national transmittals require prior Naval Sea Systems Command approval. Offerors must provide required SDS/GHS documents with their quote, and all Reports of Test and Inspection must be submitted electronically through Wide Area Workflow unless otherwise specified. Packaging must comply with applicable cleanliness controls and MIL-PRF-23199/MIL-STD 2073, with markings matching the IRPOD nomenclature. Reports of Test and Inspection are submitted at contract end, and a cure date certificate is submitted at material delivery, each separately by unique contract, stock number, and item nomenclature to NAVSUP-WSS Code N9433.

The Government requires 200 BX of NSN 1H-6850-016502346-X3, delivered to DLA Distribution, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. The Government does not own the data or rights needed to procure or repair this part from additional sources and has determined it uneconomical to buy the data/rights or reverse engineer the part. Military and Federal specifications, standards, QPLs, QPDs, handbooks, and other standardized documents are available via DODSSP/DAPS and ASSIST-Online. Based on market research, FAR Part 12 commercial-item acquisition procedures will not be used, though interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item.
