This NAVSUP WSS mechanical/repair-part procurement is a total small business set-aside and includes cybersecurity maturity model certification level requirements. The contractor must review the Individual Repair Part Ordering Data (IRPOD) and comply with its technical, quality, inspection, and packaging requirements, including applicable MIL standards, cleanliness controls, and an exclusion on intentionally added mercury. Technical documents are available through the BPMI e-commerce site, which requires password and pre-registration, and vendor review of the IRPOD is mandatory. A pre-manufacturing procedure/drawing/other submittal package must be submitted for approval within 45 days after contract award, and a Certificate of Compliance must be submitted at material delivery. Waivers or deviations on critical repair-part contracts require advance identification, justification, and Government QAR review.
