The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis under FAR 6.302-1 for 28 each of a circuit card assembly (NSN 7H-5895-015334188-GL, TDP VER 006), delivered to DLA Distribution, New Cumberland, PA. The Government does not own the rights to the data needed to purchase/repair this part from additional sources and cannot purchase, develop, or otherwise obtain them, and it considers reverse engineering uneconomical. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements, though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Award will be made only if the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meets the qualification requirements at the time of award, and the solicitation will identify where qualification information can be obtained. Specifications and standards are available via DODSSP/ASSIST (though patterns, drawings, and purchase descriptions are not stocked there), and the Government is not using FAR Part 12 commercial-item procedures, though interested parties may identify commercial-item capabilities.
