This opportunity involves the manufacture/repair of 60 units of a precision part (NSN 7H-4810-014610407) with delivery on an FOB origin basis. The part requires special test and/or inspection facilities to determine and maintain ultra-precision quality, which cannot be accomplished without such specialized facilities. Award will only be made if the offeror, product, or manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The government is not using commercial item acquisition procedures under FAR Part 12, though interested parties may identify their interest and capability to supply a commercial item.
