The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source for two units of a specific part, with delivery to DLA Distribution Norfolk, Virginia. The Government does not own the data rights to purchase or repair this part from other sources and finds reverse engineering uneconomical. While this is a notice of intent and not a formal request for competitive proposals, the Government will consider proposals received within 45 days (or 30 days under an existing BOA) from the synopsis publication date. Award is contingent upon the offeror, product, or manufacturer meeting specific qualification requirements at the time of award. Interested parties may also identify their capability to provide a commercial alternative within 15 days of this notice.
