This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract for the purchase of six specific parts. The Government does not own the technical data needed to competitively purchase or repair this item and deems reverse engineering uneconomical. Deliveries are required to DLA Distribution centers in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, and Tracy, California. While the Government intends to negotiate with only one source, it will consider capability statements or proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis publication for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may also identify their capability to provide a commercial alternative within 15 days of this notice.
