Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source for the supply of two units of a specific part. The items are to be delivered to DLA Distribution Norfolk in Virginia. The Government does not own the data rights to purchase or repair this part from other sources and finds reverse engineering uneconomical. While this is a notice of intent and not a competitive request, proposals received within 45 days (or 30 days under an existing BOA) may be considered. Interested parties may also identify their capability to meet the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days.
