This is a proposed sole-source contract for 70 units of a specific part, with delivery to DLA Distribution centers in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania and Tracy, California. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source because it lacks the data rights to purchase or repair the part from others and reverse engineering is not economical.
