NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support intends to solicit on a sole-source basis from Cometto SPA for two (2) each of Hose, Pump 60X1050MM, P/N C186.1646.00 (NSN 6X-4730-LWM045971, TDP VER 005). Delivery is FOB Origin. The item is AMC 3 / AMSC C and is being acquired directly from the actual manufacturer for the second or subsequent time. It requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain part quality, and the approved source(s) retain essential data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data not economically available to the Government. An alternate source must qualify under the design control activity’s procedures as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity.
