NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support intends to solicit on a sole-source basis with Cometto SPA for 20 gasket kits, P/N C087.0103.00, under TDP version 005. The acquisition is for spare replenishment, AMC 3/AMSC C, and involves acquiring the part for the second or subsequent time directly from the actual manufacturer. The part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain quality, and approved source(s) retain essential data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data not economically available to the Government. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity’s procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Delivery is FOB origin.
