This intended LTC covers the repair of items in support of WSN-7. The items specified are within the attached document. The only known source of repair for these items is Honeywell International, Inc. (94580). The subject item requires Government source approval prior to contract award.

NAVSUP-WSS is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to Manufacture or Evaluate, Repair and/or Modify the items as specified. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the manufacture and repair of various items listed to A-condition status. The government does not possess or cannot provide the data necessary to perform the required procurement and repairs or manufacture of the items. NIINs are listed in the attachment of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Free Trade Agreements Act and/or the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Approval of a source is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. This notice serves as the synopsis and notice of intent to sole source for a commercial Requirements Long- Term Contract consisting of 5 base years and will support the manufacturing of spares RLGs for the AN/WSN-7 system. The Government does not possess the necessary data to procure the equipment/items solicited hereunder from any source other than Honeywell International Inc (CAGE 94580).
