Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

This procurement is for 6 KT of a specified item with delivery FOB Origin. The technical data package is complete and unrestricted, indicating the parts are candidates for full and open competition. Award is contingent upon the offeror, product, or manufacturer meeting specific qualification requirements at the time of award. The Government is not using commercial item procedures for this acquisition, but interested parties may identify their capability to provide a commercial alternative within 15 days of this notice. The acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements and/or the Trade Agreements Act, depending on the clauses included in the solicitation.

This is a U.S. Navy contract for the repair of ball valve parts kits, requiring a detailed teardown, evaluation, and firm-fixed-price quote process. The contractor has 90 days after receiving the carcasses to complete the teardown & evaluation and submit a quote, with a requested repair turnaround time of 90 days. The contract includes a one-year warranty from the date of delivery and is subject to the Defense Priorities and Allocations System. If the contractor is not the Original Equipment Manufacturer, they must provide a letter of authorization and identify the OEM.
