Inactive Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

This is a proposed sole-source contract for three units of a specific part, set aside entirely for small businesses. The Government does not own the technical data for this part and finds it uneconomical to obtain it or reverse-engineer the part. While the Government intends to negotiate with only one source, it will consider capability statements or proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis publication for the purpose of potentially deciding to conduct a competitive procurement.
