The Navy requires manufacture and supply of low-alloy steel welding electrodes/rods/fluxes (MIL-120S-1, 1/16 in., 25-lb spools) for a critical shipboard system designated Special Emphasis/Level I material. The quantity is 25, the small business set-aside has been dissolved, and the resulting contract will be a DO-rated national-defense priority order. The contractor must maintain an ISO-9001 or MIL-I-45208 quality system, provide full traceability/certification, and furnish one test button/specimen per heat/lot at delivery. Final delivery is due on or before 365 days after contract effective date; certification CDRLs are due 20 days before scheduled delivery, with PNSY review/acceptance 6 working days after receipt. NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg will consider past performance, and Government quality assurance/inspection is specified at destination.
