SUBJECT: Synopsis/Notice of Intent/Pre-Solicitation Notice NAVSUP-WSS is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to Evaluate, Repair, Modify and/or Manufacture the items as specified. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the repair of various items listed to A-condition status. The government does not possess or cannot provide the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item: NIINs are as follows: Please see Attachment A The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. Additional information for submitting a Source Approval Request package can be obtained at: https://www.navsup.navy.mil/public/navsup/business_opps/. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Approval of a source is required. This notice serves as the pre-solicitation/synopsis notice for Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) consisting of 5 base years and will support the manufacture and/or repair of CVN MISC RADARS, LCS SEAFRAME, TACAN, MATCALS, and ATC&LS Systems. The Government does not possess the necessary data to repair or manufacture the equipment/items solicited hereunder from any source other than Thales USA Inc.
