However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.

The Government intends to solicit as full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit for the procurement of 4T-1355-01-273-1239-T181 Nose Cap (Fixed Wing), 4T-1355-01-273-1240-T182 Nose Cap (Rotary Wing). The government does possess the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received prior to the closing date of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
