SUBJECT: BOA Modification Synopsis - Notice of Intent to Sole Source NAVSUP-WSS is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to manufacture, evaluate, repair and/or modify the items as specified Point of Contact(s): Sarah Ream, Contracting Officer at sarah.e.ream.civ@us.navy.mil The Government intends to modify an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to add the below NIINs and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 at the order level for all orders issued against the BOA. Government intends to solicit for the manufacturing and repair of various items. The Government does not possess or cannot provide the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item: NIINs are as follows: FSC MATERIAL (NIIN) 2910 015487743 2910 011800805 2910 015615259 2815 011786377 2815 011795073 2910 016608152 One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Free Trade Agreements Act and/or the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. Additional information for submitting a Source Approval Request package can be obtained at: https://www.navsup.navy.mil/public/navsup/business_opps/. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed BOA modification and order against the BOA based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
