This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) for informational and planning purposes only. NAVSUP WSS is seeking potential sources interested in providing repair capabilities for the surface ship waterborne shaft program under a five (5) year multiple award IDIQ contract. As part of its market research, NAVSUP WSS is issuing this SSN to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing component level repairs to support the surface ship waterborne shaft program. Shaft repairs support various US Navy ship classes. The NAICS code for the requirements is 336611- Ship Building and Repairing and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The anticipated contract value is $161M. NAVSUP WSS is seeking the following information: Potential sources to repair the items listed in Attachment #1 (name, address, CAGE Code, business size standard) Any resultant solicitation will be released to Contract Opportunities via SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Contractors who previously responded to the RFI do not need to respond to this Notice unless information has changed. Responses are requested no later than 27 JUL 2021 at 1300 EST.
