NAVSUP WSS intends to increase the ceiling on an existing Firm-Fixed-Price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity multi- award contract for the below listed item. NSN: 2E 1370-01-575-9374-LA66 NOMEN: Flare, Infrared, Countermeasure, MJU-61A/B The combined ceiling increase on the multi- award contracts will be in the amount as follows. Ceiling Increase: $13,400,000.00 DFARS 252.223-7002, Safety Precautions for Ammunition and Explosives applies. Acquisition contains explosive Naval Ordnance items which require special security, safety and transportation clauses, which may be found in Section I. Production lot testing, first article testing, contractor data requirements list, and FOB origin apply. All responsible sources may submit an offer that, if received in a timely manner, will be considered. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
