Proposals for new buy will NOT be considered. Any interested vendor must be approved by a DOD-cognizant technical authority as a repair source for the item. Award will NOT be delayed pending approval of additional repair sources when approved repair sources are already available and willing to bid. Repair source addition is normally for future procurements of the same item. The item is determined to be non-commercial and commercial item procedures are not being currently considered. However, if a vendor knows of a commercial item that has the same form, fit, & function that information can be forwarded to the government for consideration. The government will NOT pay for any information submitted.
