The United States Navy (USN) is seeking sources who have an existing Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) semi-automatic or select fire 7.62x39mm suppressed rifle system. The rifle system does not have to be AK style however it must take AK magazines. The rifle system must be capable of operating in extreme environmental conditions (sand, dust, rain, snow, etc.). Table 1 details the Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) and Table 2 details the Key Supporting Attributes (KSAs). Responses shall be limited to no more than 3 pages in size 12 Times New Roman Font of product narrative. The 3-page limitation does not include submission of product specifications and material data sheets. No classified information is to be provided in submission. A possible next step would involve execution of a bailment agreement, in order that Navy personnel can verify if a particular rifle system meets the above KPPs and KSAs.
