Acquisition contains explosive Naval Ordnance items which require special security, safety and transportation clauses, which may be found in Section I. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided by the Navy. This procurement is restricted to Nammo Talley (12116) and Universal Propulsion Company (17610) authority (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This item is an explosive device. A safety survey will be required. Explosive weight 1.1 LBS (Talley) and 1.45 LBS (UPCO), Explosive Class 1.4. Production lot testing, first article testing, contractor data requirements list, and FOB origin apply. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to manufacture the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit limited sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the procurement of: Seat Stabilization Rocket Motor (SSRM) Assembly Vernier Rocket Motor NSN 1377-01-255-1650 MT32 OR NSN 1377-01-318-1830 For use on the SSRM onboard the F15/B1/B2/A10/F16/F22. The government does NOT possess the data necessary to manufacture this item and the TDP is located on FBO.gov. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government.
