Acquisition contains explosive Naval Ordnance items which require special security, safety and transportation clauses, which may be found in Section I. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided by the Navy. This procurement is restricted to Martin-Baker Aircraft authority (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This item is an explosive device. A safety survey will be required. Explosive weights will be included in the solicitation, Explosive Class 1.4C. Production lot testing, contractor data requirements list, and FOB origin apply. Note: Certain computer programs may be required to view the solicitation and/or submit electronic offers. Do not send requests for the solicitation to the buyer. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to manufacture the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit for the procurement of: Various NACES Cartridges: 1377-01-307-9125, MT13 - CCU-118/A Impulse Cartridge The government possesses a TDP that will be posted to FBO. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received before the closing date of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
