Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources to provide the repairs for the part listed below to support the Navy Nuclear Propulsion System. NSN: 4420-01-590-6470 X5 DESCRIPTION: CONDENSER, STM AUX Quantity: 3 Unit of Issue: Each The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with limited, qualified sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. §2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. However, upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Notice, the Government will determine whether to issue a solicitation on a sole source basis, set-aside, or full and open competition. All contractors interested in supplying the requested the part listed above may indicate their interest in this potential acquisition by providing responses that should include: (1) Identification of company size status, Cage Code, DUNS and certifications, i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, small business. (2) Proof of experience and capability to manufacture and/or supply the parts listed. The Government may request that interested parties provide a copy of the OEM's manufacturing data (including disassembly, repair, test and an illustrated parts breakdown including part numbers) or an OEM licensee agreement certifying corporation approval by the OEM to repair and/or modify this assembly. Approval of a source is required. NAVSUP WSS will not delay award while source approval is pending.
