NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, Mechanicsburg, PA is issuing this Request For Information as part of a market survey. NAVSUP WSS is seeking sources that manufacture a Suppressor compatible with the M2A1 .50 Caliber Machine Gun. All interested, responsible sources are encouraged to submit company and product literature, references and any other pertinent information for the Government’s review, including CAGE code and business status (e.g., small business, small disadvantaged business, HUBZone, woman-owned, veteran-owned, etc.). The product information for the Suppressor shall address the requirements outlined in the key performance parameters attached to this Request For Information. The request for information is issued for market research purposes only. This request for information is not a request for proposals or offers, and any information provided will be done so on a voluntary basis. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse companies or entities that submit literature in response to this announcement, and no entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of the submission of information. Nothing in this announcement constitutes an obligation on the part of the U.S. Government.
