NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to manufacture the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the procurement of the following Generator Gas Dry Bay Fire Extingishers: NSN 1377-01-457-3815, GGU-16A SS89 NSN 1377-01-457-3832, GGU-17A SS90 NSN 1377-01-457-4427, GGU-18A SS91 NSN 1377-01-457-4462, GGU-19A SS92 NSN 1377-01-457-4471, GGU-20A SS93 For use on the fire suppression system of the V22 Aircraft. The government does not possess the data necessary to manufacture this item. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required.
