The Government, specifically the NAVSUP Weapons Systems Support (WSS) Nuclear Reactor Supply Chain Management Directorate, has an ongoing need for various competitively procured valves and valve piece parts used in the secondary system of the Navy's nuclear reactors. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) Codes for these items are 4820. The NAICS code is 332919. Thessize standard for this NAICS code is 750 employees. Subject valves and valve piece parts are currently purchased via competitively issued call orders placed against the following five-year Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA): N00104-16-A-7001, N00104-16-A-7002, N00104-16-A-7004, N00104-16-A-7005, N00104-16-A-7006, N00104-16-A-7007, N00104-16-A-7008, and N00104-16-A-7009. Based on historical data, the Directorate anticipates issuing approximately 350-400 delivery orders, totaling approximately $7.2 million during the upcoming year. At this time the Government is seeking to issue new BPAs as the aforementioned BPAs are expiring on December 2, 2020. It is in the best interest of the Government to establish BPAs with multiple suppliers in order to provide maximum practicable competition. No solicitation will be issued as a result of this notice. However, interested small business concerns can view the attached Request for Information (RFI) to determine if its capabilities meet the technical and quality requirements necessary for the manufacture of this complex and critically applied nuclear material. See attached RFI for additional information.
