The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, VA, intends to solicit a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a brand name basis utilzing GSA e-Buy under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and FAR Subpart 8.4, Federal Supply Schedules. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 337214, with a size standard of $1100 employees. This requirement is for brand name office furniture on behalf of United States Fleet Forces Command (USFFC). The required delivery for the resulting contract is 01 December 2023. The government intends to solicit the requirement utilizing GSA e-Buy with open market items. The required open market items are provided in the attached list of open market items. A complete Request for Quote (RFQ) package will be available on GSA e-Buy, e-Buy website as follows: https://www.ebuy.gsa.gov/ebuy/ on or around 11 August 2023. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will not issue hard copy RFQs. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside of the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
