The work to be perform consists of replacing Fire Damaged Cables onboard in accordance with Specification Item 430-11-001, generated by Request for Contract Change (RCC) 664N. Fire damaged the starboard side of compartment 01-25-0-A. Extensive damage to 2 main cableways in space 01-25-0-A, involving dozens of cables. Some cables run aft, forward, and down to the main deck. Some cables have burnt outer insulation and several dozen are burned to the extent of having exposed conductor. Two, 333.1 overhead lights need to be replaced. Continued operation in this condition would cause extreme safety risk. There is also a large number of combat system alts being accomplished in the avail; many of the cables damaged are tagged with a C5 identifier, which may cause issues with combat systems rendering it inoperable effecting mission readiness.
