The acquisition will be negotiated as a total small business set aside. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to the offer due date. A determination to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Terms will be FOB Destination to Naval Base Kitsap, Bremerton, WA. Contractors need to include the cost of shipping in the unit price of the items offered. Award of a firm-fixed price supply type contract utilizing FAR Part 12 and FAR Subpart 13.5, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures, is anticipated. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the BETA.SAM.GOV website on or about 21 May 2021, with quotes due on or about 21 June 2021. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the BETA.SAM.GOV website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. Electronic submission of quotes via BETA.SAM.GOV is not available at this time. Facsimile proposals/quotes will not be accepted. Submission of quotes and completed solicitations via email is acceptable.
