Request for Information (RFI) / Containerized Payload Capabilities

Notice ID:N0003926XXXXX

The Department of the Navy’s DRPM RAS is conducting an RFI/market research on containerized payload capabilities for robotic, autonomous, and maritime platforms, with the maritime operating environment (afloat and ashore) as the baseline. The goal is to identify the realm of possible containerized payloads that can provide Fleet operational utility, be platform-agnostic, use 20-foot and/or 40-foot ISO containers, support remote operation/MOSA open interfaces, and be affordable and scalable on an accelerated timeline. The government seeks industry input on existing products, adaptations, developmental concepts, and technically feasible ideas, including capabilities not currently under consideration. Respondents are encouraged to submit multiple capability concepts with information on operational effect, host-platform interfaces/umbilicals, maturity/availability, container/physical footprint, ROM cost for planning, and production capacity/ramp-up. This is solely for information, market research, and planning; it is not a solicitation/RFP and does not obligate the government to award a contract or pay for responses.
