The RFQ number has changed to N00039-24-Q-2000. ********************************************************************* The purpose of this notice is to inform all parties that the United States Navy, Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAWARSYSCOM) in support of the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I) (PMW 790) intends to award a sole source follow- on contract for Field Service Representative (FSR) on its Portable Radios to Harris Corporation, RF Communications Division (Harris), located at 1680 University Ave., Rochester, NY 14610. Harris is the current OEM vendor providing PRP radios and ancillary parts. As the developer, sole maintainer, and owner of all data rights of the radios, L3Harris has unique and detailed knowledge of its radio's requirements and training. Therefore, all subcontractors must have certified training by L3Harris in order to maintain and train on the L3Harris' radios. L3Harris remains the only qualified source for the training and maintenance of its radios. Because of its expertise and proprietary waveforms, L3Harris is the only vendor currently possessing the capability to immediately train and maintain the radios to ensure uninterrupted service. The FSR shall serve as in-house subject matter expert (SME) on the disassembly, testing, maintenance, and assembly of the core L3Harris Communication Systems product lines. The FSR shall coordinate, support, and conduct technical activities (involving L3Harris Technologies, Inc., Harris Defense Communications products and systems). This effort will cover continued services for 12 months base with three 12-month option years. This announcement is for subcontracting possibilities only. The NAICS for this procurement is 611430 (with a Small Business Size Standard of $15M). There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers.
