The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), on behalf of the Program Executive Office, Submarines (PEO SUB) Maritime Surveillance Systems Program Office (PMS 485), plans to award a bridge contract on a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, sole-source basis, to Leidos, Inc. (Leidos) located at 9737 Washingtonian Blvd., Gaithersburg, MD 20878, for the requirement described below. The bridge contract will allow the Government to acquire necessary services until NAVWAR awards the competitive follow-on contract. The estimated period of performance of this contract is ten (10) months at an estimated total dollar value of $9.85M. This effort will procure contractor technician support to operate and maintain active and passive sensor systems necessary to provide mobile undersea acoustic surveillance capability. This capability is required to meet U.S. needs for detection, classification, localization, and tracking of the latest generation foreign submarines. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses by interested parties to this notice shall be submitted no later than 15 calendar days from the date of this synopsis to Mr. Robert Wiley, Contracts Specialist, at robert.wiley1@navy.mil. The Government reserves the right not to respond to any expressions of interest received after 15 calendar days from the date of this publication; such expressions will be considered late.
