NAVSEA has issued a public notice of a justified consolidation of contract requirements for outsourcing work from CNO Availabilities on all Submarines under an IDIQ multiple-award contract. The consolidation combines existing efforts for Production Support Touch Labor – Non-Discrete, Preservation, and Hull Mechanical and Electrical, aiming to improve quality, reduce acquisition cycle time, standardize terms and conditions, and optimize pricing across all four naval shipyards. NAVSEA plans to set aside all Lot 2 (Non-Critical) MAC IDIQ efforts exclusively for small business concerns. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only, is not a solicitation, and does not request quotes, offers, or proposals. The Government anticipates releasing a draft solicitation in the near future through SAM.gov.
