The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a solicitation for the USS Delbert D. Black (DDG 119) Fiscal Year 2027 Docking Selected Restricted Availability, a Chief of Naval Operations scheduled depot maintenance period. The availability will last approximately 10 months, beginning in June 2027 and completing in April 2028. Performance will be competed on a coast-wide basis (East and Gulf Coasts), without limiting the place of performance to the ship’s homeport. The scope includes all labor, supervision, facilities, equipment, production, testing, and quality assurance needed to return the ship to a mission-ready state. The government anticipates issuing a Firm-Fixed Price solicitation in August 2026.
