The contemplated modification will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii). Ball Aerospace is the only company with the requisite expertise, knowledge, experience and facilities necessary to meet these requirements without unacceptable delays. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Ball Aerospace directly. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
