NAVSEA intends to award a sole-source contract modification to Leonardo DRS, Inc., extending the period of performance through fiscal year 2032. The modification covers Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) production, sparing, and engineering services in support of PEO IWS 80. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, and this notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability, but any submission is at the sole expense of the responder and will not be reimbursed. The Government will decide whether to compete the action at its discretion, and any future solicitation would be announced on SAM.gov.
