The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a sole-source contract modification to General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. (GDMS) for additional production units of the Hammerhead moored-torpedo mine system. This action is to meet the Fleet's operational requirements in Fiscal Year 2027. The Government is obtaining a complete Technical Data Package for the system, with completion projected in FY26. Interested parties may submit a capability statement for consideration, but GDMS is currently determined to be the only source capable of fulfilling the requirements without undue delay. Responses to this notice must be received by 1500 EST on 28 March 2026.
