Pursuant to FAR 19.5 – Small Business Total Set-Asides, Partial Set-Asides, and Reserves, the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside solicitation in the December 2020 timeframe for the detail design and construction of up to six (6) Yard Repair Berthing and Messing – YRBM(S) barges with associated supplies and services, under NAICS code 336611. The associated supplies and services consist of: technical data package; vendor recommended spare parts; crew familiarization; standalone water mist upgrade; and packaging and delivery to various locations. Additional details regarding this small business set-aside competitive solicitation will be published in a future synopsis. The purpose of this announcement is solely to inform all interested parties of the small business set aside determination.
