The Naval Sea Systems (NAVSEA) Command intends to award a modification for Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) on a sole source basis to Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD), in Tucson, AZ. RMD has provided the USN with an engineering assessment on these missiles to determine the maintenance required now. As the Prime, RMD is best positioned to manage their subcontractor, fix these assets, and provide the assets back to the USN in the timeline needed for Over the Horizon Weapon System contract N00024-18-C-5432. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact RMD directly. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
