Repair, Maintenance, and Overhaul of Welin Lambie davits onboard LHD, LCS-2 variant, CVN 78, and LSD Class ships
The U.S. Navy intends to award a sole-source contract to Fairbanks Morse Defense for system engineering, maintenance, and repair of Welin Lambie boat davit systems. The contract will have a base year plus four option years, with an anticipated award in Q2 FY27. Services include system assessments, repairs, troubleshooting, technical support, spare parts, training, and technical documentation. Performance will support davit systems on CVN-78, LHD, LSD, and LCS-2 variant class ships. Fairbanks Morse Defense is the only qualified source as the original designer and manufacturer of these systems.
