This opportunity is for the docking and repair of two naval ships, the USS ST LOUIS and the USS DONALD COOK, with performance planned to begin on the East Coast. The work for the USS ST LOUIS is scheduled to run from December 2026 to October 2027, and for the USS DONALD COOK from January 2027 to June 2028. The procurement will be conducted as a full and open competition, but the Navy may initially limit the solicitation area to contractors near Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, FL, before expanding it coastwide if necessary. The Government anticipates releasing a Request for Proposal around January 30, 2026, and awarding two firm-fixed-price contracts in June 2026. A highly capable contractor with substantial dry dock facilities and resources is expected to be required for this work.
