The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a sole-source order to General Dynamics Land Systems in Sterling Heights, Michigan, for MK 46 MOD 2 Gun Weapon System spares under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement. GDLS is the only known source capable of meeting the government’s requirements within the needed schedule. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact GDLS directly. Interested sources may submit a capacity statement for consideration, but the government will not reimburse submission costs. The government will use submissions solely to decide whether to open competition and retains sole discretion to continue with a sole-source award.
