Pursuant to 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1), the Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a one-year contract extension to existing contract N00024-19-C-6402 for continued engineering and technical support of the MK11 SDV system to Teledyne Brown Engineering (TBE), 300 Sparkman Drive, Huntsville AL 35805. TBE is the only source with the requisite technical certifications, knowledge, and resources necessary to meet the Government's schedule constraints without significant risk to the Navy. The Government requires these specialized engineering and technical services to commencement in October 2024 and not to extend beyond September 2025. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The purpose of this synopsis is to provide information and to promote subcontracting opportunities. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact TBE directly. This pre-solicitation notice is for information only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. This is not a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation and this information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract.
