The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) order for MK 45 Gun Mount Overhaul to BAE Systems Land and Armaments L.P. of Minneapolis, MN without providing for full and open competition pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact BAE Systems directly Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement no later than the closing time of this notice. Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government -- the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
