Please forward all questions concerning this attachment to the Contracting Officer at edward.f.rogan.civ@us.navy.mil and Contract Specialist at nicholas.w.boyles.civ@us.navy.mil** This is a draft solicitation for a procurement of an estimated one hundred twelve (112) Oil Spill Response Utility Boats (OSR UB's) and forty-two (42) Oil Spill Response Boom Platform's (OSR BP's) over the next six (6) years under a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The boats will be procured using a small business set-aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items under NAICS code 336612. Additional Infomation: This draft solicitation is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, RFP, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a reult of contractor responses to this announcement. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. Please note, all Industry responses and questions received will be treated as public information and may be released on SAM.gov. The Government will consider all comments received on this draft solicitation. The Government does not commit to providing a response to any comment or question. The subsequent revision to any Request For Propoosal-related documents based on comments received remains solely at the Government's discretion. No comments, questions, or inquiries shall be made to any Government person other than the points of contact identified in this draft solicitation. No telephonic inquiries will be accepted. The RFP, to include the final Statement of Work and Specification and related files under solicitation number N00024-23-R-2260, will be issued electronically.
