The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is hereby issuing a Request for Information (RFI) on behalf of the DDG(X) Guided Missile Destroyer Program Office (PMS 460), seeking information from electric power and propulsion equipment manufacturers and other interested parties to support the design and development of the propulsion system component of the Integrated Power System (IPS) for the DDG(X) Guided Missile Destroyer. This RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request For Proposal (RFP), Request For Quote (RFQ), or as an obligation on the part of the Government. There will not be a solicitation, specifications, or drawings available. There is no funding associated with this announcement. See Attached RFI and DD-2345 for reference.
