The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to execute a Delivery Order under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-19-G-5303 for the MK 46 MOD 2 Gun Weapon System (GWS) to General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS), Sterling Heights, Michigan 48310 without providing for full and open competition. This Delivery Order is covered by the BOA which allows for the placement of Firm Fixed Price (FFP) or Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) type orders for an ordering period of sixty (60) months from date of award. The contractor shall furnish spare parts, repair and overhaul services, and engineering and logistics support for the MK 46 MOD 2 GWS. GDLS is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge and expertise of the MK 46 MOD 2 GWS to satisfy the Government requirements in a timely and economical manner. The Delivery Order will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
