The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract modification to Conrad Shipyard, LLC, located at 1501 Front St., Morgan City, LA 70380-3032, for the procurement of one (1) Yard Repair, Berthing and Messing Barge (YRBM) as a Follow-On to the existing contract N00024-22-C-2253. The required delivery date (RDD) for the craft is 31 March 2027. The contract action will include one craft with delivery, as well as options for Procurement of Initial Outfitting (PIO) recommended spares and Crew Familiarization. Additionally, the contract modification may include an option for a second YRBM craft. This contract action is being conducted on a sole-source basis, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. However, all proposals received by the response date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
