Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order on a sole-source basis under FY20-24 Multi-Mode Radar (MMR) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) number N00024-21-G-5507, with Saab Defense and Security USA of East Syracuse, NY. This order is for the material, testing, and repair of the Signal Data Unit (SDU) component of the AN/SPS-77(V)3 Radar system. The contemplated delivery order will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii). Saab Defense and Security USA is the only company with the requisite expertise, knowledge, experience and facilities necessary to meet these requirements without unacceptable delays. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Saab Defense and Security USA directly. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
